We have arisen
from the Anglican Church and so we cherish and celebrate the many traditions and forms of worship that have evolved in the
Anglican Communion. But, we are also a Church that was started by the laity and will continue to have a strong lay leadership.
In this we have even deeper roots than the Church of England; our roots go back to the first century A.D., to the house churches
that Paul formed as he moved through the Eastern Mediterranean. We are a blend of both. Our clergy is charged with teaching,
equipping and casting vision while we, the laity, are invested with much responsibility in the governance and running of the
Church.
Our Mission, Vision, Values and Statement of Faith are located on a separate page of this website. In summary,
we are a Church that believes unapologetically in the traditional teaching of the Christian faith as found in the scriptures.
We are building a supportive community based on the love of Jesus Christ, to carry out our Mission Statement: “…
to know God and to make Him Known”. We invite all to come and grow with us. Please feel free to contact any of the members
of the Servant Council if you have any questions.
