to introduce the Reverend David T. Drake and his family

The Rev. David T. Drake:
Fr. Dave was rector of Holy Trinity Church in Raleigh, NC where he served
since August, 2005 and where he was founding co-rector with Michael Greene. At Trinity, Fr. Dave was responsible for preaching
/ teaching, worship, administration, pastoral care, and ministry oversight. In this role, he also developed a mission
partnership with Anglican Archbishop of Tanzania and the Diocese of Ruaha, TZ.
He graduated from Trinity School for Ministry August, 2005 where he was Senior Class School President and a Leighton
Ford/Sandy Ford Fellow. Prior to attending Trinity, Fr. Dave was Regional Director for FOCUS in Boston for four years, during
which time he initiated or restarted 12 on-campus Christian fellowships for students & faculty. He was school chapel speaker;
led weekend retreats, summer programs, and mission trips for students, and was responsible for regional budget, regional staff,
leading regional and national programs. He held a similar position with FOCUS in Washington D.C. from 1993-1997, and was a
member of the regional staff of FOCUS in Baltimore prior to that.
He
graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in History and concentration in secondary education in 1991.
Fr. Dave is married to Kristin and has four daughters-- Keating (8), Gracen (6), Annie (4) and Storie (1 1/2).

. The Right Reverend Hector Zavala, Bishop of Chile, will preside on behalf of our Bishop, John Guernsey.
