CHILDREN'S
MINISTRY Our Vision
~ To learn to love God and worship Him in their own way. Our Curriculum ~ "Worship Kidstyle" Sundays at Resurrection: Our
children will engage in fun and exciting activities and games that teach them about God's Word and what it means to be in
a relationship with Jesus. They will learn that worship is not just something we do at church; it's how we live our life honoring
Christ.
For More Information: Email Claire Trainor at claire@resbalt.org. Or check out the
Children's Worship Program Pamphlet coming soon!
Beginning September 12, children ages 0 - 5 will stay in the classrooms for the whole service with
parental option to get them for Communion. Children in Kindergarten - 5th grade will start in the service and after a brief
children's homily will leave for Children's Worship. They will return to the service for Communion during the offertory.
We are excited to kick off our new Children's Worship program on September 12th! Our vision is that the children of
Resurrection would learn to love God and worship him in their own way, so it is appropriate that the curriculum we have decided
to use is called "Worship Kidstyle." Every Sunday
our children will engage in fun and exciting activities and games that teach them about God's Word and what it means to be
in a relationship with Jesus. They will learn that worship is not just something we do at church; it's how we live our life
honoring Christ. For more info on the Children's Worship
program there will soon be a pamphlet on the Welcome Table describing what we're all about. If you are interested in volunteering
with the Children's Worship program--and we want and need volunteers--you can E-Mail Claire Trainor at claire@resbalt.org.
There will be a volunteer information session in the next several weeks (date and time TBD). Our Sunday Morning services include the children. After a brief 'Youth Talk'
by the Rector, the children leave for their classes, which take place during the remainder of the formal worship time.
One Sunday each month the children remain in the service for the entire time, and participate as torchbearers, greeters, readers,
and intercessors. It is our desire that the children understand that they are an important part of the Resurrection
Community, and we recognize that providing a fun and interesting way to learn about our heavenly Father and all He desires
for our lives is one of THE most important aspects of the ministry of this Church. We welcome any questions or comments from
parents.
